Corruption And Lack Of Compassion And Loss Of Humanity Essay

There are so many issues in the world that it can prove somewhat difficult to choose just one, from government corruption and the increasing economic issues to the lack of compassion and loss of humanity. Compared to these issues my choice may seem merger, but it is not. Here’s how I’ll prove it. Throughout my high school and college career, I have heard friends and other girls surrounded me complain about how they can’t leave the house without wearing makeup. Girls always compliment me or tell me how â€Å"lucky† I am that I can leave the house without makeup. I find this completely absurd. Why do girls feel the need to always follow society’s new trend, whether its new makeup, or shoes? All these materialistic things don’t matter, what matters is the type of person you are. Some young girls like to take their anger and insecurity out on other people to try and make themselves feel better, but let me tell you it doesn’t work. When has it ever worked, it neither benefits you or the person you’re effecting. These new trends make girls feel insecure about themselves, everyone is pressured to be skinny, wear makeup, wear waist trainers if your waist isn’t thin enough, eat healthy and other things that we have complete say in if we listen or not. I don’t why do others have to, I know plenty of girls that don’t care about carbs or going on diets, were young most of us have high metabolisms, why should we have to worry about what we’re eating now.
